Teaching Technology in an Innovative World 17

Leading and Learning a few things while teaching technology to the babies and a handful of adults!

In my experience as a Technology Innovator Champion with my school district and now the Verizon Innovative Learning Lab facilitator, I contributed to numerous projects that helped students and teachers achieve their goals using technology in the classroom.

A Little bit about me….

I’m a lifelong learner and this ePortfolio will showcase my work. I currently am a tour guide for my students. I say that because I work with them daily exposing them to STEM science, technology, engineering and math.

Why do you do what you do? I do all of this just to make the world a better place for the children I’m in charge of educating. We can create our own heaven or hell. My classroom is a space for heaven. We use technology to create prototypes that one day might have an impact on the world!

In my experience as a Technology Innovator Champion with my school district and now the Verizon Innovative Learning Lab facilitator, I am always growing and looking for opportunities to help my students and teachers grow and help with their mindsets about technology.

A Little Truth about Me…

I love being creative! It takes me a minute to get going but it’s hard to turn it down once I’m on the roll. Being an educator and a technology instructor to middle schoolers, it very rewarding. I get them in their weird years. I am able to teach them hands on activities. We do Project Based Learning, daily. I also can help guide them into the young adults they want to be…GREATNESS!

I work hard to keep my family first and then work to make my students feel like family. It’s never easy, but it sure is fun when you get the results you have worked for.
